Ok, so this post is a little late, or should I say a lot late......we went to Lake Powell in September but I just got these pics and vids from my sister-in-law (Thanks Ang!!) and I had to share.
Ashtyn & Jade, aren't they cute!!
I can't tell you how long it's been since I've been on one of these. We have so many stories of going to Lake Powell when we were younger and having so much fun on the banana. This time, after we took the little girls for a ride, me and Jacqie stayed on and 3 BIG boys joined us......not so fun. I had the worst headache the rest of the day.....getting landed on, kicked, and hit in the head by these 3 BIG boys.
I love these two sweet girls!!
Thanks Kelli, I'm really not sure how this is going to turn out but here goes.....

I have to post this because we got a good laugh. The other day I gave the girls a bath before church. When I was finished putting lotion on Ellie, I told her to lay down on the ground and I started putting a diaper on her (she's 4 1/2 and has been potty trained for 2 years). I didn't even realize what I was doing until I noticed that she was laughing at me. Is it true that you lose brain cells with each pregnancy? I think so.....
Last night we carved pumpkins. Ellie's been asking for weeks so we finally did it. She was so set on making a butterfly in her pumpkin. Ashtyn had fun drawing all over our pumpkin, then she was a lot of help when it was time to carve it.
After the pumpkins were done, we turned the lights off to see how they looked with the candles inside. Ashtyn is so sensitive, it scared her to death. The look on her face in the above picture was so funny, she was trying really hard not to cry. As you can see from the next picture, it's nothing that a carameled apple didn't cure.If only I knew how to make caramel apples......I guess I cooked the caramel too long because they were hard as a rock. We ended up having to throw them away.....I guess I'll try again.
